Toucan is partnering up with surrounding businesses to create new event located in the parking lot and alley on the 2500 block of Montana Avenue. The Back Alley Arts Festival or BAAF is inspired by Billings’ urban atmosphere, with an emphasis on art, food, and music. With BAAF we are looking to break down barriers and bring the art to the streets, enlivening our Montana Avenue district. In doing so, we intend to create an opportunity that fosters a sense of downtown community and exposes patrons to new and exciting art in all forms.
Participating businesses include the Pub Station, Lilac, Dickey's, MoAv and Don Luis. Sponsored by Iron Oil and Computers Unlimited.
Admission is free for children 6 years and under, $2 for children ages 7-17, and $5 for adults. Visit the gallery to purchase tickets ahead of time, we can only accept cash or checks at the door!
We are currently accepting submissions from artists, performers and businesses to be a part of the action!
